About Shamiso Smiles!
Shamiso's healer journey began back in 2013 when she received her first crystals and was introduced to working with energy as a healing therapy. From there she started practicing meditation and through divine guidance signed up for Acupuncture School and Reiki Practitioner Training in 2016.
​
While in Acupuncture school more opportunities to expand her knowledge and training in both western and eastern medicines opened for her. 2017 was a year of expansion, she became a Registered Yoga Teacher, a CPR/First Aid Instructor, and started practicing medical Qi Gong.
​
Shamiso got her Acupuncture License in June 2021. Currently a professor and Clinic Supervisor at her Alum, Florida College of Integrative Medicine, teaching Interns who are studying to become Acupuncturists!

She loves the outdoors. Her favorite author is Paulo Coelho.
